An impressive Edwardian townhouse nestled in the colourful market town of Llandeilo, Ty Tywi combines the designer looks of a boutique hotel with individually styled boutique rooms with all the mod cons and home comforts that ensure that whether you're looking for a relaxing getting away from it all stay or to don your walking boots and head to the hills, you'll enjoy a comfortable stay.

  • Bedrooms:  There are four en suite double bedrooms at the house, one ground floor and three first floor rooms. If you like designer wallpaper, flatscreen televisions and luxury organic mattresses then you'll love the minimalist and contemporary flavour to this property in which comfort and modernity combine. Designer products by Alessi, Kartell and BoConcept sit alongside Welsh designer products in the colourful bedrooms. 
  • For relaxation: Kick back in the open plan kitchen/diner, or there's the TV room in which to relax and make the most of the film library, or if you'd rather get stuck into a good book, then there's a second sitting room complete with log fire in which to recline.
  • For recreation: There are a whole host of board games to enjoy after a day exploring the local area.
  • Practicalities:There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer at the property, as well as a bike and boot wash and drying room for all your wet weather gear.

The property fronts onto a quiet residential road. To the rear of the house is a small patio and flat lawned garden, as well as off-road parking for three cars.

  • On the map: The property is just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Llandeilo, yet also within walking distance of the Brecon Beacons, Tywi River and Dinefwr Park
  • By Car: 3 hrs from the M25, an hour from Cardiff and just 20-minutes from the M4
  • By Train: Carmarthen (around 30 mins from the house) and Swansea (around 40 mins) are the nearest main line train stations, whilst Llandeilo train station is around a 2-min walk from the property.
  • By Air: Cardiff Airport is around an hour from the house.

Out and About

  • Llandeilo is a boutique shopping and foodie heaven, there's a branch of the fashion store Toast, a local chocolatier and cosy pubs and coffee shops to visit.
  • Outdoor pursuits available locally range from mountain biking in the Brechfa Forest to hiking in the Brecon Beacons.
  • For those who are looking for something a little more relaxed, there’s Dinefwr Park, the National Botanical gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens and three Welsh castles, Dinefwr, Carreg Cennen and Dryslwyn just a short drive or cycle away.
  • Within half an hour of the property, there's an 8-mile sandy beach whether you are looking to enjoy a spot of sunbathing or winter beach walking.
